Accessibility Statement – Longevity GP

  • Longevity GP is committed to ensuring our services are accessible and inclusive for all individuals, in accordance with the Disability Services Act 1993 (WA), the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 (WA), and national accessibility standards. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to receive quality healthcare, regardless of physical ability, sensory needs, or communication preferences.

  • We are actively working to improve access in line with the principles of the WA Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP). Our clinic aims to:

  • Eliminate physical and digital barriers to access

  • Ensure respectful and equitable treatment for all patients

  • Promote inclusive communication practices

  • Continually evaluate and improve our accessibility efforts

  • 2. Physical Access

  • This is a home visit or telehealth based service with no physical clinic location.

  • 3. Communication and Language Access

​

  • We support inclusive communication and provide:

  • Written materials in plain English

  • Consultation summaries upon request

  • Auslan interpreter services (via NABS or WA Interpreting Service) with prior notice

  • Use of the National Relay Service (NRS) and TIS (Translating and Interpreting Service)

  • 4. Website and Digital Accessibility

  • Our website is being developed in line with WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards.

  • We aim to support screen readers, provide high-contrast text, and ensure keyboard navigation is functional.

  • If you experience difficulty accessing any digital content, please contact us for assistance or to receive materials in an alternative format.

  • 5. Inclusive Service for All Needs

  • We recognise and accommodate patients who are neurodivergent or have sensory sensitivities.

  • If you or your support person require a longer or quieter appointment time, please notify us when booking.

  • Service animals are welcome in the clinic.
